This community project is designed for 11 and 12 year-old girls. Positively More takes a positive approach to youth development and builds upon the many strengths of adolescent girls. When young girls feel supported by an array of adults, they are more likely to set high educational goals, express strengths such as self-discipline and resilience, and engage in activities that are beneficial to their physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development. Girls are more likely to develop confidence when they have access to safe and brave spaces.
Positively More provides all of this to the girls who participate in this program and we would be thrilled to have your daughter join us!
This project aims to:
1. Give girls the tools to avoid questionable situations
2. Lessen the consequences of potential conflicts
3. Identify lessons learned by those challenges
