Join the Junior League TODAY – and choose a morning OR evening New Member Orientation Class.

Orientation Trainings

Tuesday, February 6th, 9am – 1pm
OR
Wednesday, February 7th, 6pm – 9pm

After attending the Orientation Training new members will be placed on a Junior League committee to volunteer on a project, program, or event!

How do I become a member of the Junior League?

Traditional Path:   
1) Register  by October – Traditional Path only. 
2) Pay the New Member dues of $326–  (prorated for half year enrollment) A confidential payment plan is available for membership dues.  (Fees will be prorated for Cohort Training)
Please email our treasurer to arrange: Treasurer@jlgreenwich.org
3) Attend the New Member Training classes (once a month). 
4) Participate in the New Member group projects
5) Attend the Saturday morning Road Rally of JLG Projects (date TBD), attend at least 2 General Membership Meetings (evenings), and shadow a JLG committee meeting (in the Spring, evening and daytime options available)

New members from the class of 2023 playing table tennis in the spring. Co-chair of the New Member Committee joined as well.

About Junior League Membership:

The Junior League of Greenwich provides opportunities for women to develop skills that will allow them to be effective volunteers.

The Junior League of Greenwich’s membership includes executives, community leaders, entrepreneurs, mothers, and professionals. We welcome all women who are at least 21 years of age and interested in making a positive impact in the community. By joining the Junior League, members have opportunities to develop their leadership potential, obtain valuable skills, and utilize personal development training while serving the needs of the Greenwich community.

 

Membership Criteria

  1. A prospective member must have an interest in voluntarism, a commitment to community service, and an interest in developing her potential for voluntary community participation.
  2. Prospective members must be at least 21 years of age as of June 1st before the Junior League year for which she is applying (Junior League year begins June 1st).
  3. Prospective members should live or work in Greenwich, CT.
