A Financial Literacy Program for Teens!
Money Sense is a new, FREE program developed by the Junior League of Greenwich to help teach money management skills to Greenwich youth. Money Sense uses material developed by Junior Achievement USA, and delivers the course in a fun, age appropriate way by women of the Junior League.
Announcing Money Sense – For Girls!
The Junior League is proud to offer a FREE special Financial Literacy course just for girls!
The course is open to 6th-8th grade students and will follow Junior Achievements “Economics for Success” curriculum.
JA Economics for Success®
JA Economics for Success gives students the information needed to build strong personal finances, a cornerstone to a happy, secure life. Students learn the importance of exploring career options based on their skills, interests, and values. They also learn about spending money within a budget; saving and investing wisely; and using credit cautiously.
When: Saturday, November 9th, 10am – 2pm
Who: Girls in 6th-8th Grade
Where: JLG Headquarters: 231 East Putnam Avenue
