The Junior League of Greenwich (JLG) is excited to announce a recent donation of new Lego tables to The Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich (BGCG). Launched by the JLG’s 2021-22 New Member class, the child-centered project addresses a need identified by The Boys and Girls Club, a valued community partner.

The Lego tables will assist in helping BGCG’s youth to develop their sensory, motor and communication skills. These centers of play can be easily transported to multiple settings within the club, and all the boys and girls will have an opportunity to explore, create, engage, and play at their new Lego stations.

As Karen Richard, JLG President, states, “Every fall, we welcome a new group of members into our League, and by the spring these volunteers are making an indelible mark on our community. We are pleased our New Member class was able to fill a need at the BGCG that will help enrich the after-school experiences of the BGCG youth for years to come.”
