Breast Cancer Alliance and JLG Partner Host GoForPink Event

The Breast Cancer Alliance (BCA) is partnered with the Junior League of Greenwich’s Young Women’s Breast Cancer Support Group this year to host a breakfast and conversation with Dr. Marisa Weiss on Thursday, October 5 at 10am at Richards store on Greenwich Ave.  The event was part of the GoForPink series of events to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Click to read more about this informational event.

Junior League Benefits from Tiny Tots Consignment Fall Sale

The Junior League of Greenwich is thrilled to have been chosen as the nonprofit partner during the first-ever “Boutique” shopping event at the Tiny Tots Kids Consignment fall sale.  The PositivelyMe! program at Junior League of Greenwich received 100% from money raised through ticket sales.  Thank you Tiny Tots for your support of the JLG and our community impact projects! 

JLG Supports Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts

Thousands of evacuees from Hurricane Harvey in Texas are in need of supplies for babies.  After speaking with the Junior League of Houston and the surrounding Junior Leagues, the Junior League of Greenwich created an Amazon wish list of baby items that where shipped directly to the Junior League of Arlington, where more than 5,500 evacuees from Houston have relocated. The Junior League of Greenwich is delighted to help relaunch Abilis Gifts with an open house on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The open house will take place at Abilis Gifts located at 50 Glenville Street, Greenwich, CT 06831. Visitors can enjoy light breakfast fare while browsing for gifts to buy for Mother’s Day and Teacher Appreciation with sales benefiting local artisans and employees of the store.
